Millions of people all over the world are leaving false religion and studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. People are learning the truth about Jehovah God and his only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

The Hebrew words "et asher" are not found very often in scripture. When they do occur together the phrase is read as "concerning whom" or "concerning that" but never as "whom". You can see this by reading the original Hebrew of Ezekiel 36:27.

Thus the New World Translation is close to the same meaning. Using "look whom" rather then "concerning whom", but still using "et asher" correctly.

A more accurate translation of Zechariah 12:10 should be:

"they will look onto Me 'concerning whom' they have pierced and they will mourn for him"

The New World Translation is unique in one thing – it is the first intentional systematic effort at producing a complete version of the Bible that is edited and revised for the specific purpose of agreeing with a group's doctrine. The Jehovah’s Witnesses and Watchtower Society realized that their beliefs contradicted Scripture. So, rather than conforming their beliefs to Scripture, they altered Scripture to agree with their beliefs. The “New World Bible Translation Committee” went through the Bible and changed any Scripture that did not agree with Jehovah’s Witness’ theology. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that as new editions to the New World Translation were published, additional changes were made to the Biblical text. As Biblical Christians continued to point out Scriptures that clearly argue for the deity of Christ (for example), the Watchtower Society would publish a new edition of the New World Translation with those Scriptures changed.

Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem as king, “humble, and riding upon an ***,” his betrayal for “thirty pieces of silver,” the scattering of his disciples at that time, and his being pierced on the stake by the soldier’s spear were all foretold by Zechariah in exact detail. (Zech. 9:9; 11:12; 13:7; 12:10) The prophecy also names the “Sprout” as the builder of the temple of Jehovah. It seems rather obvious that Jesus the Son was literally pierced, while Jehovah the Father was figuratively pained by seeing His Son's suffering.

Trinitarians who point to Zechariah 12:10 do their cause a disservice when they pretend that nontrinitarians (or unitarians with a lower-case "u") misunderstand the original Hebrew there. Bible students and scholars have long acknowledged that "They shall look upon me whom they have pierced" is the LITERAL translation of this verse.

But this Scripture is *NOT* to be taken literally.

Clearly, any parent would feel the pain of his child. When Christ Jesus the Son was cut, of course his Father Jehovah felt that pain. Trinitarians and non-Trinitarian Christians alike should well-understand this point, and note that "the Father" remained in heaven when "the Son" was impaled on earth.

Interestingly, bible prophesy shows that *EVEN MARY* the human mother of Jesus would feel this stabbing pain when the human Jesus was impaled:

Rotherham, American Standard Version, Moffatt, An American Translation and Revised Standard Version all use "him" instead of "me" either in the main body of the text itself or in a footnote as an honest alternative. Whether the pierced one is Jehovah or Jesus, there is a more logical translation.

Yes, the Majority Text (King James version 1611) is the real Bible.

The Catholic Bible, Jehovah's witness Bible and many others cults bibles are from the Alexandrian Text. Check to see if Acts 8:37 is missing, this is the tell tail sign.

Majority Text, or Received Text is from Antioch (the real bible)
Alexandrian Text is from Egypt (Alexandrians were also a Cult)
