Quite. And why do we have little muscle fibres on each of our tiny body hairs, to make it stand up when we're cold or frightened? This would have been useful if we were apes, with long fur coats, but it's utterly pointless for us.

Because god didn't create human beings. God doesn't exist. Religion is the magnet that attracts people with sadistic tendencies and it's also the name of the club of the sadists. Chopping your puppies' tails off has been banned in the UK because there is no religion involved, but why should a barbaric practice be overlooked by law in a secular society just because one word: RELIGION? A secular society that does not give unreasonable privileges to any religion is the way forward. This would give human civilisation a chance to progress.

The foreskin serves a good purpose while the tail bone and the appendix seem to be evolutionary carry overs that are nearly useless.

I do not believe that God (if there is one) decreed any such thing. In a civilized society it should be against the law, along with ear piercing. No-one has any right to inflict pain on a small child, not in the name of God or anyone else. If circumcision is necessary for medical reasons, then that is o.k.

Parents should have no right to circumcise either male or female children. Babies and children haven't given their permission to have their ear pierced either. It is an offence to them as a human being.

Paul tells us there is nothing wrong with a foreskin. It was just an identifying mark to cut it off for the Jews as Baptisim is for the Christian.

because a disease came about that made it of good survival value to cut your foreskin off, and then it was converted to a religious thing so that most people would be more willing to do it to there kids.
