Do you believe that our governments refusal to enforce it's own laws will result in anarchy?

I listened to Glenn Beck's commentary last evening on CNN and this was the subject! I put this in immigration because it is immigration law that he was mainly talking about.
I don't always agree with him,but I think he has a point here!
It has to end one way or the other. Either the government enforces the laws or the people take things into their own hands!
I think this could happen down the road?
It's not all spin!!
It would be a sad time in our history!!!

More likely a massive uprising as is currently happening by way of calls, faxes, etc, to the senate and lower house on this issue. It's all communications now but will likely take to the streets if something isn't done.

Cheap labor is NEVER good in the long-term. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was among the first to point out that reliance on cheap labor had kept the south visibly behind the north in technology and economic standing.

Besides, work is one of the FEW ways I see these people making money. The other ways are even more destructive to the long-term economy...not to mention, to society.

Enforcing is the tough part....about 8 years ago, I called my local immigration office, and ranted for an hour about how many illegals were here. The agent told me that sadly, his office (for ALL of Kansas AND Missouri combined) had only 10 (TEN) agents to cover investigations/deportations.
That's it.

At that point, there were roughly 75,000 illegals living in just my city ALONE....not both entire states. It was physically impossible for the INS to enforce the immigration laws.

Our police do not have the legal funding, nor do they have the legal right to handle deportation proceedings. Uniting homeland security and state/local law enforcement is a near impossible task (but I want it to be done).

If Bush would be good enough to spend MORE money on homeland security than on overseas personal vendettas (Iraq), we would be able to fund this.

We haven't enforced immigration laws since before the last amnesty, and we still don't have anarchy....BUT...........One scary thing about giving police officers all over the country, complete control to round up illegals, will DEFINITELY lead to mass corruption. A few corrupt cops will be taking bribes from Coyotes to just let their people go.

The illegals are here because of widespread corruption in their own country. Speaking specifically about Mexico (I know many other countries are included, but we'll use Mexico for this example), the only way that we will eliminate illegal immigration, is to ANNEX Mexico, eliminate the corruption there, and remove the border altogether.

I know this will happen, because I see illegals demonstrating in OUR streets to influence government policy, when you would NEVER see them marching in the streets of Guadalajara for their Mexican rights...the country is so corrupt, they gave up on demonstrating 100 years ago.

It'll be a bloody battle, but we will have a bloody battle in another 20 years when the Mexican population tries to re-claim their "stolen country" from us.

All I know is when our kids come home from Iraq,they want sovierinity,they should get compensation for their efforts,and when they realize we are being invaded by illegals,the **** is going to hit the fan,pardon my speach,I am proud that my family has fought for this country ,I am proud that I have the right to bare arms,and so help me God,I dont want to use that right,but I will if our so called government officals keep shoving this illegal **** down my throat.
