it doesn't seem to require much, so long as it is not what fundamental christians want.

Answering any question opens you up to a violation on R&S.

Or the atheist blasphemers either. You only mentioned fundamental christians, but the bigger violators would be the other. Um, k.

NOT true,

I am not a Christian,

but I have had a violation, in the Language section,
for referring someone to a FREE language site,
they deleted me,I appealed and it was OK'd but I lost that vote, I really was annoyed about it. But it is JUST a website, NOT my life.

I have been told by many a top contributor that, YA is Bias,
I believe that SOME are, but many are fair,

But I think that when your purposefully offensive your gonna get a violation , and lets face it many people i RS are intentionally offensive,

Whatch what you say, and word it appropriately,

READ the rules and regulations, this way your not getting the BOOT as much.

Actually, I got a violation notice for asking for encouraging scriptures, poetry, or other writings, and for asking fellow Christians for prayer. It wasn't ONLY about prayer though. I needed something tangible to hold me over, hence the encouraging scripture request.

Gee, I didn't realize that asking for scripture on a subject isn't allowed in the RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY section. I wasn't even discriminating against anyone in the question. I asked for encouraging writings from ALL religions, and told atheists and agnostics their good wishes would be sufficient.

I also regularly get thumbs-down for stating that I'm a Christian.

Just posting here can get someone a violation, no matter which religion or non-religion they claim. It doesn't take much.

Say anything that may be perceived as insulting by anyone...ANYONE and you'll be violated. I actually got a violation for insulting someone who ASKED to be insulted as part of the question! REALLY! And don't use certain words, because I think Y!A must be handing out violations just because those words are being used, even though they blot them out with asterisks... go figure.

I am not sure. I got a violation for asking why halloweeneists sacrifice pumpkins, and another for asking why atheists celebrate halloween if they don't believe in pumpkins.
I guess people are thin skinned about pumpkins

I'm not really sure how to guage it, I've gotten them for everything.

I got a violation for asking:

"Where are the roaming questions originating now?"

and

"Isn't the Universe a big fart?"

The origins of carbon on Earth are from Methane, the key ingredient in flatulence.

As usual, it is to the contrary. One sees Christians/creationists denigrated regularly, and their faith, while similar things about others get deleted. But we are told to expect such, yet we also have things we need to repent of and improve on.

Pretty much. Someone asked what religion everyone was and I said I was a heathen Pagan... and I got a violation notice. Gee, sorry for stating the truth. I guess I'm supposed to lie and say I'm a fear-filled bigot instead.
