Putin is sure working hard to become the savior to the Iraqi and Iranians, and to make sure he identifies Russia as anti-US. He is increasing his stance by posturing himself and Russia as in direct alliance with all that is defiant towards anything the Americans are doing. I often suspect he has a 666 on the back of his head.

Quoted from Yahoos front page: "President Vladimir Putin, in his latest jab at Washington, suggested Thursday that the U.S. military campaign in Iraq was a "pointless" battle against the Iraqi people, aimed in part at seizing the country's oil reserves."

Remember when you were a little kid and you always heard "you have to be a friend to have a friend" well, until we learn that being friends is more about respecting our differences than having to be the same, and hold the same opinions on everything that we feel benefits us, we will not be very respected in the world, feared by most? Yes, but those who don't fear us have their own interests in mind more than ours, and they should! Also the media has to make things bigger than they are for a reason, it's called ratings!
