No, it is NOT worth dying for someone. Death is only "worth it" when one is in extreme (unrelievable) pain, or is immobile. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to die because I had such intense feelings for someone who didn't reciprocate those feelings. Luckily, I never acted on those passing (destructive) impulses, because later I wondered how I could have even felt the way that I did. Brain biochemistry is a powerful and wondrous thing.

Stand back for a minute, and realize that these feelings that you have now that are so strong WILL subside, if they are not reciprocated. I guarantee it! You have to love yourself enough to use the gift of life that you have been given in a positive way. You WILL find love - when the time is right. In the meantime, be grateful for life, as it is a rare priviledge. Life will be over soon enough.

I cant think of any reason to prefer death to life.No matter how crappy today is, tomorrow could be better. If I'm dead I'll never know how things might have worked out. There is too much that I want to see and accomplish in life to want to cut it short.
I can see trying to save another's life and being killed in the process but what would someone gain by another dying for them.
Some people kill themselves on the spur of the minute and others plan their actions over a long period of time. Both of these are taking the easy way out. The only one who suffers is those who cared about them. It's a selfish thing to do.
There is a lot that can be done for depression through medication and therapy. Life can be good again if you want to work at it.

It's never worth dying for someone else. Just the act of suicide is selfish, permanent response to a temporary situation.
You may feel like this person is the center of the universe right now, but that will change.
Emotions always change, that is one thing I have learned from being bipolar. I may be in the lowest low one day, but be perfectly content the next. So it is not worth ending my life over a temporary feeling.
I would say, ending your life ESPECIALLY because this person doesn't care for you is the wrong thing to do. Because it will not accomplish anything but take an important, valuable person out of the world, and that is you.

No, no one is worth dying for or over! Especially if they don't care about you. The only persons I would ever dye for is a family member and that would be in order to protect them if someone was trying to harm them. But over someone I thought cared about me and found out they didn't screw them their loss! Someone else better will come along!

No, it is not worth dying for someone else. Period.
You move on and find the joy in your life. Joy does not find you.
For all the bad things that happen in life, tomorrow may bring the answer to all of your prayers. If you die....you will miss tomorrow.

No it isn't. There will be someone greater in the future that really cares for you.
