i am looking for info on a painting by Reuben George Stracey called Goody two shoes painted late 19th century?

i am doing a school project on decendents reuben g stracey was born in 1852 and died in 1913. he also painted his wife but i want to find out where his paintings are and anything else relevant to him and his work

Hi! I cannot find any reference to R. G. Stracey on-line or in any art encyclopedia. As 'the History of Goody Two Shoes' is quite a famous book, I went that route as well and found no citations for him or mention of paintings of the artist's wife. in search box upper right type in goody two shoes and then click on images when you get there...there is a picture of something like you describe on the first page a little boy standing infront of a woman sitting on a bench...that it?
i know the name of the artist and the title are niggling somewhere in the back of my mind and i think that is the image...i could be totaly wrong, but that is my best shot tonite.
