each one will say they are right and the others are wrong. they all started out as jewish. then JC was born and christianity (christians) started as catholics as they thought JC was the messiah (son of god) that the jews are still waiting for. Then around 1066 Martin Luther decided he would change some of the rules and come of the christians splintered off. Then in 1500 Henry VIII wanted to divorce his wife and again spilintered off another subset of christianity. Then came the mormons, and the puritans, etc, all divergent variations of christianity.
