Beef, if I really had to choose.. but I like chicken as well..Also depends on what kind of dish being served.. I prefer barbrcue or gilled chicken to beef stews.. and i cannot resist a piece of the colonels kfc...But I will not replace a nice prime steak for chicken.. not in this lifetime!!

If it is a reference to the amount of protein pound for pound then chicken would be the choice for such a reference. If you are referring to ease of preparation and meal versatility then beef would be the choice. There's something to be said for frankfurters made from chicken though, BLECH!!! Nothing beats the flavor of an all beef hot dog with plenty of sweet relish and mustard.

I love them both but will choose chicken over beef and lately seafood over chicken.
