Has anyone ever come up and said you have beautiful grandchildren and you were the parent??
My husband gets this all the time..He's only 41..
I have to make him feel better when it happens...
But I think its funny too and end up laughing anyway..

I think you have the right approach, laughing about it. Other people appreciate your children's beauty and pay you nice compliments. They have no bad intentions, so tell your husband not to take it personally.

Every man knows he is old the first time a young woman he finds attractive calls him, "Sir".

He should blow it off. You should not laugh (if this is grandpa thing is really bothering him) Some guys roll with the punches, some dont.

The way I see it, the world needs more laughter. And laughter is the best medicine. So I would just laugh it off if I were him.

ha ha. one time we were out for fathers day and a guy said to my husband" so out with the grandson huh?" my husband felt about 100 yrs old. he started turning gray a bit early so people always think he's our son's grandpa.
