I am an Agnostic. I believe in God, just not in Religion. I feel that all religions should be treated as equals

People believe that because the religions that have been forced on them by their parents tell them that. Trace it back far enough, through enough sets of parents, and eventually, it was a priest who told them about the choice. He was told by a priest. Trace that back further and further and you find a bunch of old books full of stories made up to control people.

> I am an Agnostic. I believe in God, just not in Religion.

It sounds like you're a deist, rather than an agnostic (you do believe in a deity, where agnostics profess uncertainty).

I suppose if you don't think of life this way, then this won't help, but in the world there IS right and wrong. In a planet where God is everywhere, and amoung everything we can't get away from that fact. Also, God is a savior. But he can only save the people that want to be saved. And scary as it is, the people who refuse to be saved, WONT be saved. Its like in Lord of rings, if you know the story. There were the people who wanted to destory the evilness that the ring contained, and they had to fight against the power it had over them. They knew that they had to fight the powers of darkness that were consuming the world. And there were those who were overtly evil. They killed, ravaged, murdered. And there were those like and Ents who didn't care. They said that they were on no ones side. When they said that, one little hobbit got upset and told them that they were part of the world, and that they HAD to give their allegience to someone. They could pretend to be unaffected by the battle between good and evil, but the fact was, it was inescapable and no one was exempt from it.
For answers, we need to look to history, to space, to life and to death. I became a Christian about one month ago after seriously battling everything it stood for. The first step out of atheism/agnosticism for me was watching a nonreligious feautre called the privilaged planet. After seeing it, i knew i couldn't pretend that God didn''t exist anymore. God has given us the opportunity to see and understand part of his mind, and his world. Its really amazing. Im still learning too though. :)

The actual Hell is an invention of the catholics to frighten credulous poeple.
It is a mix between
-- the jewish Gue-Hinom, the place where were burned deatd-born children, foreigners and those who were condemned to death
and
-- the Underground World Hades where every body go.

Chaitane means "the questionner", "the one who doubts" so any one asking for an answer about God, Man, Religion,... have a doubt and IS Satan.

The "real name" of the achi-archangel that "God fired from Eden" is Samael, meaning "Venon of God" so have licence to make instillate the venom of doubting.

And the one who does not doubt does not trust in the future of Man.

About religion, it is an invention of man and I am sure that God is laughting of all theses quarels and is betting on the one who will survive the last.

If you want to believe in a genocidal maniac OK. Would a loving God ask Abraham to barbecue his youngest son? The are so many examples of cruelty and downright thuggery in both testaments that if was not called the bible it would be banned from schools! Read Richard Dawkins book The God Delusion and I guarantee that if ,you a mind of your own, you will become an atheist like me!

There are infact three choices to the self.

More important than being with this or that; is to know and realise the identity of that in the self; who is taking the decision of being with this or that.; because the decision taken by it is the reason of the body and the self to be such decision.

It is the I; which is neither the body of the self nor the self itself. It has the powers and abilities of being either this or that; and it depends upon the type and kind of knowledge, inspiration, and energy which it drives the self to seek, to use, and to know as its own; for driving itself with.

If the I drives the self to seek, use and know god then it will take the body and the self of it to seek, use and know god and to be with it; and if the I drives the self to seek, use, and know satan then it will take the body and the self to it to seek, use, and know god and to be with it.

The I is a great source of power and energy; of that of goodness, happiness, pleasantness, and satisfaction as well as of that of life giving properties, qualities and abilities of nature; but if the self is neither aware nor conscious about the knowledge of the qualities and abilities, and the identity of the I; then it will ignorently use the awareness, knowledge, and consciousness of the powers of badness, sadness, unpleasantness and dissatisfaction together with life consuming properties, qualities and abilities of nature to drive itself with.

What matters most is awareness of self; more about the knowledge of self; and also about the qualities and abilities of self which it uses to drive itself with; godly or satanic; it is entirely upon the individual.

Belief is not an end in of itself. We believe something in order to go the next step. I don't have to take a belief one way or the other on whether it will rain in Rangoon because I don't live in Rangoon. I do have to know how to dress so I will have to believe something about the weather where I live.

Christians believe in God in order to seek Him and find Him. We have to believe God exists in order to seek Him.

So, why do you believe in God? What's the next step?

You can live a perfectly lovely life free from all religion and free from belief in God. You can also raise your children to know right from wrong, be charitable kind and compassionate without religion. Its not just a theory, I have done it.

You believe in god? then explain how you get to god. Why would he put you here and not interact with you? that does not make a lot of sense does it?

I don't think that, because there's no reason to think that EITHER God or Satan exist. You can't be "with" imaginary beings.
