I liked Barbados myself. Being more equatorial the heat was a little more intense but it seemed to be a dry heat.

Someone mentioned Jamaica. You get a lot of bang for your buck there. South coast I liked better than north.

The British Islands will be more expensive because of a strong pound and a weak US dollar.

I would also stay away from anywhere that really caters to the cruise ship port o' call thing. When a few of them let off it is a mad house then the streets roll up when they leave.

IT is also one of the least expensive islands in the Caribbean to visit and you get the most bang for your buck. I highly recommend Punta Cana there.

Bermuda is beautiful!!! I have been there twice and would go back in a heart beat! The Grand Cayman Islands are wonderful too!! Honestly your best bet is to go on a cruise!! You get so much for the money you pay, and you can see a couple of island all in one vacation! Congrats!!

I'd recommend you the Dominican Republic. I'm from here, and we have beautiful beaches ifthat's what yo uare interested in. I recommend you Punta Cana, and Samana, there's also Bayahibe. You will love them!

I spent time in St. Lucia before at a place called "Windjammer Landing." Everyone has their own little villa with a private little pool, several restaurants, gorgeous views.... oh god, I'm depressing myself now.. :-D
