I had this urge to see myself bald and so I got my head shaved yesterday.Since then I am being teased by people around me.

Was wondering why?

Do you also tease when someone in your family or friends get their head's shaved?or do you support him for doing so?

People are dumb...and rude...and intolerant.
I'd support my family/friend. When my cousin had chemo, her husband shaved his head to match hers . . . that was nice.

Listen. The reason you're being teased is because they have never seen you like that before. I'm 35 years old and I've been shaving my head since I was 18.

I know a lot of bald guys. You didn't say if you were male or female, but either way changing your appearance is up to you. The teasing will pass...it's just because shaving one's hair off is a really dramatic change to how ya look.

It's just shocking to people - they're used to you with hair! It's like if you lost a bunch of weight or started wearing a new style of clothing...

Plus, some people just do not look good bald. Depends on the individual...

I think shaved heads r sexy. They're probably just not used to u being bald yet. They'll come around. Eventually the bald jokes will get old, and they'll stop.

Do you relatively desire to invite why? i do no longer think of that it relatively is precise to tease human beings and particular harm their emotions - yet while human beings do issues that are unusual and/or unusual that's the reaction that ought to be envisioned. each and every time somebody does some thing exterior of what's seen "generic" persons could be stunned or disturbed. they ought to vent their soreness in some way, so they try this via lashing out on the guy that "made" them experience that way. additionally, teasing isn't in simple terms the thank you to make somebody else experience undesirable, it relatively is the thank you to make oneself experience extra effective. they think of, "If I tease you approximately some thing weird and wonderful which you have achieved, then I instruct all human beings else that i'm no longer weird and wonderful such as you." do no longer permit it get to you. in simple terms be your self.

People are shallow and stupid. We forget the fact that you have the right to do whatever you want to do (as long as it's not harming someone else or illegal by established laws).

They are not used to seeing you this way. It is not the "accepted norm".

You would get the same treatment if you still had your hair, but had it dyed green.

They say we only use 5% of our brains...

I think it really depends on if your a guy or a chick! Lol

Do what you want don't worry about what other people think. If your happy with it then fine. Maybe their just jealous because your sexier with a shaved head than they would be! Lol

I wouldn't worry about it. My brother shaved his head once. I did think it looked funny at first because his head was so white! I didn't tease him though.

Because people do not know how to react to change. It could be because they we caught off guard and their first reaction was to chuckle. Does this make it right? No, but after the initial giggle, they should respect your thoughts and support you if you feel upset about there reaction.

Good luck
