Hello
my boss promised me a salary raised but when it actually came to it this didnt happent and she said: "sorry I would like to help you but I can't". Now I know that the company has no problem and my salary raise is actually something what all other co-workers received. I am also one of the best in the job and received many times feed back from my boss telling me that I am very good in my job. I feel really bed about it and dont know what to do. Have for the moment no other job offer and my boss knows it. Should I quit anyway?

NO, never quit a job until u have another one to go to. Why dont you go above her and report this incident to someone that can do something about it. As for your work ethic, just keep u pth egood work and shorty im sure it will be rewarded. Dont give up, please dont quit your job unless you really dont need it. because finding a good job is so hard to do nowadays.
As for your boss, well what goes around comes around,, she'll get hers.

No, don't quit. File a complaint with EEOC. This is a form of discrimination if what you say is true. What she did is not exactly a lie, but if you were promised a raise that is a verbal agreement that has been broken for no discernable reason. Or, she misrepresented what she was capable of doing. If they decided that the others would get a raise and they did, then it was within her power to give you one also.

talk to your boss openly about this -if you can't then perhaps you should look into working for someone you trust and/or exploring your own reasons for not being able to discuss these sort of uncomfortable issues with the people involved

If your in a union ask them.
Try citizens advice and ask about wage council.I'm sure there is an independant review body that looks at wages.
