Do you take pride in that you are loving follower of Christ?
Be honest with your answers please.
And if you do take Pride in this then are you not committing a sin?
As Pride is one of the Seven Deadly sins.
Be true with your answers as if you lie that you do not but in fact you do then you will be committing another crime.
No offence to religious people, huh.
Thank you for your answers.

I think you should look up the definition of pride. The definition is- conceit; a sense of one's own self-importance; excessive self-esteem. This is the definition of sin the bible speaks of. And if you read the bible a little more concerning pride you would see this.
When you take pride in being a follower of Christ that is a different type of pride. This type of pride is when you feel good about doing something. Most christians feel good about being a follower of Christ. This is not at all a sin.
Add-on: If you look at the time of your definition and the time of my answer, you would see that your definition was not there at the time I wrote my answer. Also, you seem to be a little immature. Love ya still.

I am a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not pride which I feel, but thankfulness. My guess is most Christians feel this way, but then again we are all human, and that ol' human pride can sometimes get the best of us. Thankfully, we are all forgiven and saved and that's what really counts.

Young Warrior,
The "Seven Deadly Sins" are a creation of man not of GOD. I do not take pride in my following Christ but I also do not want others to be abusive toward one who died for my sins. HE came and was sinless yet HE was tortured and murdered by the Romans for the Jewish People. Pride and lying are both sins in , NOT because of the "Seven Deadly Sins" but because of our FATHER'S WORD in the New Testament. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

there is a difference in being proud of something and being filled with pride. i am proud to say that i'm a christian, but i am a humble christian, i don't fill myself with pride, all that causes is arrogance. you can be proud of something and not be filled with pride.

The seven deadly sins are not biblical thus your question is flawed.
St. Thomas Aquinas in his writings and meditations described seven deadly, spiritually deadly sins.
Pride as he was referring to it was arrogance.
I am not an arrogant Christian spiritually hence I am a proud Christian.
