salad because pasta is a carbohydrate like potato. I think id prefer my jacket with some butter and cheese aswel though :)

Neither! Try Jacket Potato, with coleslaw, cheese and then top it with baked beans! It sounds weird but some of the UK's best restaurants are serving it like that! I had it once and now that's the only way i will eat a jacket potato! It tastes amazing, the whole combination is fantastic! Trust me on this!

SALAD! too much starch if you have it with pasta. You need something light with a jacket potato.
