Well understanding the Christian religion probably better than most of them, I would have to say no, with a capital N..
The Christians believe in Heaven and Hell, no other religion believes that way, so you cannot believe in one and not the other, otherwise your belief is null & void..
Blessed Be.. )O(

lol You're so funny. That's really sweet what you said though. I think you have a nice heart. I believe you very much so will go to heaven if you go through Jesus...it's about having a personal relationship with him. Because of what He did for you.
But He himself mentioned Hell 70 times in the bible....um yeah
there's no getting around it. Hell is real...and it does exist. Or else why should heaven exist? Better yet, why should all the good people go to heaven and the bad people just die?
What is a reward for if there are no rules in life?
Hell is real. If you're saved and walking right before God...you don't have to worry about it.

The answer to your question is YES YES YES!!! I'm so sure about this. You're all good.

There is a saying that says with faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Martin Luther King Jr. said that, and he got a lot done.

You won't get anything done if you have to have all the answers before you make a move.

The Bible says, "Believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the grave, and confess with your lips that he is God, and you will be saved". Believe in Christ and you will be saved, period. Not believe in Hell, and you will be saved. Jesus did talk about hell, but he didn't say it was required that you agree with him on that topic to be saved. Tell Jesus that you need him, invite him into your life, and apologize for all the hurt you've inflicted upon yourself and others (we all have at some point). Don't let the bad place keep you from the good place! If a dislike of the idea of hell is all that's keeping you from the most important decision you'll ever make, stick a pin in it for a while. Who gives a crud at this stage? God's existence, your heart, and Jesus' sacrifice are all that matters.

The gospel is that we can't be perfect alone. Not everyone starts out with the same advantages. Some were raised well, and will be "good people", and some were abused or crazy and are destined to be looked down upon. But God sees the heart. If in our hearts, we don't worship ourselves, but long to know God, we can be saved no matter where we are, or what we started out with. That's what's so great about it. Grace puts us all on the same level, so it is fair. It annoys me when people on here say that they are Christians and that "if you follow the commandments, then you will be saved". What did Jesus have to die for then? It's not about rules, it's about love and living free. Making your own mistakes allows you to grow and learn. God knows that. He knows we all are doing our best with what we've got and that we have good intentions. So he makes our intentions like his and works in us to love others.
We are hurting, and we need Jesus to heal our hearts, as he promised he would in Matthew. He died so that we could be free to grow and live under the law of love. We grow under and want to please those who accept us, rather than a tyrant who never gives us a break. That's why Jesus died, to cover our sins and to be with us forever. I think that pretty much rules.

I am a Christian and I have found that the past couple of years being one has been like solving a really long, really cool math problem. One answer leads to another, and another question. With Jesus, you have all the time and guidance in the world to figure out the rest of the mysteries. Just take that first step now, and the rest will come later, I promise.

If, after you have relished your new salvation and love for others and Christ for a while, you have questions or issues that are getting in the way, you can email me. I promise I will be reasonable and give you both sides of everything. Some Christians take the Bible literally and DON'T believe in Hell. I personally do, but I don't take the "fire and ashes" thing literally. I believe that is a metaphor for how it will feel to be separated from God. If you choose not to have God, and go on your own steam, God gives you exactly what you want. He says, ok, don't have me then. In "hell" you realize what you had at least through viewing creation and having him pursue you. In hell, you get to live with what you chose over God. Yourself? Money? Whatever. God is into free will. But I could be wrong about hell. You may be right. There are many interpretations of the Bible.
A good book to read that tackles some of the tough questions with a lot of brain and heart is "The Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel. There is a good chapter on hell in there. It's pro-hell, but it has other good observations to think about, and it tells you how a good God could possibly allow a hell, and how good people could believe in it without being jerks, which is always good to know for diversity reasons. After you are a Christian, you should read, seek, question, challenge, and learn honestly to your heart's content. But if you have to have all the answers first, you are sol. Becoming a Christian acutally gives you more understanding into the spiritual realm (believe me). Check it out when you are ready. Further down the road, "The Screwtape Letters" and "Mere Christianity" will change your life. When you are feeling tired or guilty, try "Waking the Dead" by John Eldredge. It's amazing.

Hell is the common grave, not a burning place.

Only a 144,000 go to heaven. This is to rule with Christ Jesus. What a loving provision of Jehovah. To have brought certain ones, humans to the spirit realm to help rule. They have gone through many of the same things we have.

The rest that have been counted worthy of everlasting life, that have done what they needed to, the ones that have the right heart condition and live their lives the way Jehovah tells us to, will live here on earth in Paradise. Life without pain and death. The ones that make it to Paradise are known as the Great Crowd.

Soon, Gods Kingdom ruled by Christ Jesus will bring about these Paradise conditions here on earth. This is the only hope for mankind.

This is why we go out giving warnings now. We try to help people to understand their Bible.

It's not just believing in heaven and hell that get's you to heaven. You have to believe in God first off, you must believe is Word is true. You must beleive that you are a sinner, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Believe that God sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all of mankinds sins, past present and future. Than 3 days later He rose and is now in Heaven making intercession for us. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Than lastly find yourself a baptist or non-denomonational church, and you will learn much more.

Oh yea Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Therefore meaning that works do not get you to heaven, being a good person, giving to the poor, etc.

I believe we can make life on earth into heaven or hell. It is not really about what is going to happen after we die but about what we do to ours elves and others.

It is a good thing not to believe in hell. But that would be like making sure that every person on earth, especially those who are suffering, has a comfortable life.

Missionaries, Red Cross, NGOs they all try to fight against suffering because they do believing creating a better life for others.

The only way you can go to Heaven is if you believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true God, and if you ask Jesus Christ into your life. Also, if you repent of your sins.

nope! Jesus said "I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by Me"
the only way to get to heaven is to repent, admit your a sinner in need of a saviour, and ask Jesus into you heart as your personal saviour.

well, if you believe in heaven, but not hell, then you arent following a known religion. so afteryou die, you can go to disney world. if you are looking at it from a christian, theres only one way to get into heaven. (A)dmit that you are a sinner. (B)elieve that Jesus died to take away your sins. (C)onfess that Jesus is Lord of your life.
that was the ABC's of salvation...and it doesnt hurt to go to church, pray, and live your life according to the bible.
