Home Theater in the box products from Onkyo and Yamaha are pretty solid, and a step up above Sony, Panasonic and other more mainstream manufacturers.

Define "relatively cheap".

From my point of view, the combination you are seeking would be "relatively cheap" at around Â£800.

For somebody who isn't bothered about sound or picture quality, "relatively cheap" would be about Â£300.
