How should we know? We know just about nothing of his life.
Paul was one of the earliest writers, though that was still decades after Jesus' death, if he existed. Nothing was said at all about his childhood or early life. Not much was said, even, about his teachings.
All of that was added in decades later when the Gospels were written. The Gospels relied on writings of the time and each other's writings. Again, Mark, the earliest writer didn't add as much detail as the later writers.
Do you know of other stories where more and more detail is added as they are told over the decades? They're called urban legends, superstitions, and myth.

You can read "The Childhood Stories of Jesus." There are thousands of Gospels that were omitted from the Bible and used in Christian faiths throughout the world after the death of Jesus. What Jesus did between 12 and 30 has not been a mystery for decades.

That's a very good question but from biblical point of view there really isn't any answer. Its up in the wind if I might say.More than likely Jesus studied the law and prophets.Because even at the age of 12 he understood the scriptures and it astounded the religious elite of that hour. We understand that he was a carpenters son.Great question and God bless.

Generally, speaking, he was growing up like a normal kid. He probably pulled his baby sister's hair and spilled milk on his brother. One time he caused his mother distress when she could not find him.
Later, he learned carpentry.
The Bible omits specifics on these years because they are unimportant. It has no relevance to the reason for his ministry and ransom sacrifice.

There are books not included in the new testament that talk a bit about it. There was one book found in a Buddhist monk sanctuary in Kashmir that claims Jesus went to India and studied Yoga and Hinduism and there is even a shrine to Jesus there.
Who knows

Funny that it's not mentioned. According to the Bible it's not that important.
But for the historical Jesus, this is probably where he was forming his views and learning, becoming the guy that will create this religion. So, he was sorta like Batman.

A ordinary child who was taught to respect the Law of Moses and helped his parents and half-brother's. It seems that at the age of twelve he showed remarkable understanding of scriptures. and godly devotion.

He was a good boy and man before. On 30 he was selected as a prophet of God. Jews to whom he was sent did not believe him in his life and tried to kill him. But when he was taken to the heavens they started believing god totally against his teachings.

He was a carpenter.
He did not have to study the scriptures, He was the one who made all things, without Him nothing would have been made.
He was the Son of God before the foundations of the earth, then He became the Son of Man to redeem us of our sins.
