To me it was from John 14.....
"Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
There is something so pure, so real, so comforting in these words - among the last things Jesus ever said to His disciples, right before His arrest and crucifixtion.
What do you think? What's the best thing Jesus ever said?

Love thy neighbour as thyself - wouldn't the world be a better place if people actually did that, rather than finding every excuse there is to hate, fight, cheat and hurt - especially when they make out its on behalf of their God.
And who is thy neighbour - ask the Good Samaritan...

The best thing he said was what he DIDNT say: when he wrote in the sand and whatever it was convicted the bigoted and self-righteous religious leaders and they crawled back under the rocks from whence they came and nobody heard from them again.........at least not until the religious right Christian fanatical fringe became popular during BushCheney, Inc administration. We can only imagine what life would have been like if the religious bigots and fundamentalists who have destroyed the US Constitution would have never crawled out from under their republican rocks and would've heeded Jesus and his silent indictment. Instead, we have the religious self-righteous GOP-FOXTV party of "family values" eating its own, throwing its own to the wolves, crucifying all the sinners they can find and rushing us into nuclear war.

What you have chosen is definitely one of the greatest things He ever said. For me it is hard to choose what the best thing He ever said was, because I think that everything He said was so inspirational and held so much truth. Because the thing about Jesus was that He didn't just talk for the heck of it, like we do, just to make small talk. When He talked, you better listen, because you knew that He was about to say something important. That is what I feel anyway.

The best thing said by Jesus, all other Prophets and all humanity is "THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE".
God is not more, many or three or trefoil; only One, only One, only One; not one in many or many in one. Believe his unique and eternal.

how can you remove the speck from your neighbor's eye when you can't see the log in your own. He who is without sin cast the first stone.
