"Why do so many use science to try to disprove the existance of a higher power?"
Like who?
I think you just made that up.
Go look up "Strawman argument", and read it through carefully. Think about what you did here, and show the moral character to not do it again.
==================
"Also I'm sorry you are so angry perhaps a little faith woulg grant you greater peace. Poor soul"
Do you think I take advice from people who act as childishly as you are here? Please.
Lose the arrogance, and learn a little about how to behave yourself in public.

To creationists who hold up with the discipline of evolution this isn't information considering it was once already documented over a decade in the past. I am completely satisfied you published the item hyperlink. My regional newspaper published a shorter variation of that article. If I had now not learn the longer article you associated with I might now not have learn that the institution professor ADMITTED that, "They nonetheless have a few UNDISCOVERED ancestor that PROBABLY lived two million to three million years in the past, a time that has NOT LEFT MUCH FOSSIL RECORD," So you ought to objectively admire that the above assertion indicates that you simply ought to have blind religion and feel that there ought to be a few kind of unknown ancestor although there's no groundwork or evidence of it. Evidence isn't wanted for far of evolutionary notion to be authorised. I continually surprise why so much atheists or agnostics do not simply say whatever extra sincere like, " OK God does exists however I do not wish to take delivery of Him," as an alternative of looking to persuade themselves and others to take delivery of a concept that has no observable proof of transmutation of species and is going in opposition to the truth that principal forms of species are located absolutely built in combination within the earliest fossil list with out predecessors- the Cambrian Explosion that is not ever defined by way of evolutionists. Thanks for the put up!

In fact it is a greater testimony to a Being Of Intelligence than simply forming a man out of clay. I can do that.
But can you breathe the breath of live into it and it become flesh and blood? I think not. I also think you have fallen for one of the most destructive lies ever told to man, that he came from nothing. If you actually study the ideal you would find so many holes in it that no rational person without a personal anti-religious agenda would or could believe it.

There is plenty of evidence that a higher being exists. In fact, many people have seen him/her, before being sent back. It's religion that's causing the problem. Religion is used across the globe to justify so much bad. All the church ever seems to want is money! The theory of evolution is very weak, and very easily questioned. Perhaps people have turned to science after seeing the evil that religion is used to justify. Life develops very easily on any suitable planet, it just takes a very long time. To think that we have one omnipotent being overseeing everything that we do, while allowing us to slaughter each other, in our millions sometimes, to me appears strange.
My conclusion: superior being yes, religion no and science is simply a tool, which is mainly used to enable us to find better ways of killing each other. This world is very strange.

Salt God on top a scientific theory all you want. The fact of the matter is, god is unnecessary to explain evolution.
Science does not seek to disprove god; more accurately, it cannot. But ONLY if you leave it at that, an ambiguous definition. The instant you go attributing properties to a deity that are observable, testable, science has something to say.
For instance:
"There exists a god that fills the universe with popcorn."
The universe is not filled with popcorn.
Therefore we can reasonably assume that a god that fills the universe with popcorn probably does not exist.

It's the reason that many people want to deny the existence of a God. Belief brings accountability and responsibility. If I don't believe ion God I don't have to find out what's required of me and I don't have to feel accountable.
Take heart that Stephen Hawking - the world's greatest thinker and quantum physicist reaches the conclusion that at the back of the whole of the appearance of the universe appears to be an order of intelligence which is the only way to explain the origin and the complexity of life.

Science does not try to disprove the existance of a higher power, it tries to find the truth, and the truth is that there is a strong possibility that we have evolved from the apes.

I really don't know of anyone who would actually waste their resources using science to disprove something imaginary.
It is completely illogical, but I suppose only to be expected from people with imaginary friends who are not 5 years old.

man has a huge ego; we have had no hand in what sparks life; the planet that we live on and the universe which we are now a part of; what we think we know changes so why do I feel that man knows better than the Creator of everything that was here before us ; that we had no hand in creating ; and still can't explain it ; when we think we discover something; new information constantly changes it; we still don't know how we work , our mechanics and that is ever changing; just a big ego with little power , a drop in the bucket when compared to the world. Look up and around; listen; everything works without our input

because we as humans like to "see it to believe it", and we like facts, hardcore evidence. Although there are these same things found in God and how He exists. But it's just the fact that people don't want to acknowledge it. Just like we believers don't believe in evolution, because we both are set in our ways. Not everybody in this world will believe in God or evolution, so we just debate and share thoughts and views, or facts.
