Hominids, which branched off from the other apes, so we are in fact apes.

I think we evolved from whatever we were before we became what we are now. Whatever it was, it was always human, though not as we appear in our present stage of evolution. In the womb we go through various appearances, some looking quite monstrous, yet inevitably, it always results in a human. The earth is the matrix for all generally speaking, while our direct ancestors are the matrix for our emergence specifically. I think it is the same for all creatures, some of which, of course, did not survive as long as the human and others we see today. I also see this concept as inclusive of other types of the same species of creatures, some of which coped better than others. The very beginnings of all life metaphor I see more as a grassy yard rather than a branching tree. An ape-like ancestor fits this metaphor as well, the only difference being that this ape-like ancestor was always "destined" to be us and not a modern ape.

We came from some generation of Adam and Eve. Apes though better than us in reason but not our fathers.

We originate from the spiritual part of creation as unconscious spirit germs aside with consciouis human spirits.

Inherent in us is the willingness to become conscious and this was granted by the Love of Creator.

This granting necessitated a release from the spiritual plane into the lower animistic planes then through the ethereal plane and finally the gross material world which is this earth.

The story of creation in the bible is not far from the truth but, it indicates spiritual happenings which can only be explained from the spiritual standpoint.

The ape-like creatures which you refered to were necessary vessels for the present human race but they did not bear spirituality as their inner core but animistic substantiality.

Well we evolved from something, but there are many different theories as to what that "something" was. I don't think we came from Adam and Eve.That's just not a plausible theory is it?

I am proud to be the descendant of an ape like creature that figured out it was better to climb down out of the trees and steal meat from the lions than it was to stay safe in the trees and be hungry.

I think darwin is right, we have evolved from the primates. I know many humans who behave worse than the apes.

Well the Bible says that Adam lived to be 930 years old - so whatever he was, it certainly wasn't "human" in the sense we would define it today!

Adam and Eve. The 2nd one is a stupid darwin fake story, where impossibly, a man turns to monkeys. My ancestors cant be monkeys!!! We still get to see monkeys, dont we? Are they about to turns to humans???
