my partner is british (i'm australian) and he came here a few years ago as a skilled migrant.
he was only here for about two or three years and now he is a citizen.
australia is crying out for labour as india and china make heavy demands on our primary resources. there is simply not enough people that live here to fill the amount of work going to keep up with the demands. consequently, everyone here in secondary and tertiary employment is quitting there usual job and getting employment in the minesites (the pay is good) and hence, there is massive gaps in the services industry.
check out www.seek.com.au for jobs.
i doubt you would need a sponsor at the moment.

http://www.whimmigration.com/index.html is an agent based in Perth, WA - they help by maximising the "points" you have and working out strategies to increase them if you don't have enough. A friend of mine in Romania is currently using them. I'm living in Australia and I called the office in Perth first to check these guys out. I can't vouch for how effective they are because my friend has only just started the process, but they seemed to know what they were talking about.
There are lots of other agents who do the same thing - just google "immigration agent australia".
Ingrid, du spinnst und solltest am Besten einfach den Mund halten.

I'd go along with with K Bear has said. Ingrid on the other hand is a Dummkopf and you should take no notice of her Quatsch.

Dont worry - you'll have no problems getting into Australia!
Australia will let every living soul into the country, no matter what!
But they do, however, require the follow skills:
1) You do NOT speak English
2) You should NOT be able to drive properly
3) You need to barge into the country thinking that you can do WHATEVER you like
4) Preferably apply for a job as a taxi driver
5) Even better, don't apply for a job at all
6) You need to bring about 12 children with you, and be a single parent
7) You MUST apply for Centrelink social secuirty payment AS SOON AS your plane (or boat) arrives in the country!
War schön Ihnen kennen zu lernen!
