You can get totally different answers each time it's asked because you will have totally different people answering it.

I read a question in which the asker thought that it was rude to answer a question with the "drink" response. The answerers said that the asker deserves it because the question's been asked over and over. I say, so what. I think it's kind of an arrogant private put down that's not justified. Is it ever right to put someone down? What are your thoughts on this.

I agree with you. If you feel it's been asked too many times, then move on to another one. It IS arrogant.....and rude....to put others down. And on this site new people arrive every day, and don't know a question has been asked repeatedly. Sadly, some people are just rude & arrogant no matter what is asked. :))

You won't lose your mind. You are a victim of your own beleifs that were formed in childhood. I just discovered this website that helped me with some of my limiting beleifs. Beleifs that have been crippling me for a long time. Your statement:" I'm a pest that must be exterminated" is nothing more than a beleif that you formed somewhere along the way even though it feels so real and as though you can see it! Right? Listen check out the Lefkoe method for free. Don't judge just try it. If you follow all of the instructions and do it just like he tells you, you wll be free.... Go to the website below: Hope that helps.....

I agree. If you a weary of the question, take a pass. So many questions, so little time! Why bother taking time to insult someone. They may be a newbie, or they may have been in another section and wandered in the R&S looking for a little spiritual uplift. This section should have a warning that pops up when you first visit that says "Enter at Your Own Risk!" No it is not right to put someone down for their beliefs, but we know that is the way it goes here. Differing opinions may always be expressed politely, and in fact should be expressed. Rude is ugly, and it always will be.

there are so many people on Q&A that a person would have to be on here 24/7 to see all the questions and answers so I'm ok with people asking questions even when they have been asked many times.
but then you have the ones that, they them selfs ask the same question over and over trying to get under someones skin those people I either ignore or block

I've thought that, too--I understand that people can use the search function, but sometimes you really want some fresh answers. I avoid some of the ones that I know will dissipate into the same old insult match, though.

yeah i've seen some double ups, but the people who ask obviously haven't seen it before or want more questions.
sometimes i think oh geez weve been there so many times. but i think well the asker could be new or have not encountered similar questions. i think it is nasty to ridicule people asking questions, after all thats what were here for.
why punnish people for what they dont know.

those who do the drinking questions , know who are new to the site also
because it is usually old regs doing the drinking questions
so they know who is who
and they will explain in their answer why they are drinking , if it is a first timer
the reason they drink is because apart from it being a repetative question ... it is generally an arrogant question also
so if it is seen as arrogant to answer with * drink * then it is usually justified as an answer to an arrogant question anyway
such as " do Atheists have morals "
