Um, wow...
I'm probably going to get a lot of crap for this: God is neither male nor female. In Genesis, its stated that "God created man[kind] in his image, male and female he created them". Basically mankind was the visual/physical representation of God's attributes and character (before the fall). You have to remember that the folks writing the Bible lived in a patriarchical culture and that is why God is portrayed as a man, ie: father, king, shepherd, husband, etc; but God transcends gender.

God, I believe is both female and male uniting both aspects in one being. Which is reflected in our world throughout nature as male/female and positive/negative polarities.
I don't know that you could have a created/manifested universe if there were only one polarity.

that claim is in the Hebrew bible, Genesis. and it predates Christianity by a 1000 years at least, but the origin of that story is Sumerian, meaning that it predates the first Hebrews by 2500 years, and the Christians by 4000 years.
the fact is that humans "created" that unique God, by the same process they "created" all the gods before that one.
and when they "created" it, they chose to make it in the shape of man, probably male, and then went and claimed that this "creation" of them is the creator of them.

Why ask this question? Not everyone is female. Don't waste your time asking questions that can't be answered.
Maybe you should research how a human is made and at what point in pregnancy one becomes male or female.

God has both male and female qualities. Human beings also have qualities of both sexes, including the opposite sex.
Our society, may restrict the developement of ones opposite sex qualities, It is up to you , if you are a male to develope your feminine side, and the same for the female and their male side.

NOPE, he is MAN, image meaning the human image. So god is a MAN. All of you who disagrees can suck it. Because so far youve been wronged by the catholics that God is transparent and has no body.
Pray in spirit for God has a spirit, and quit rambling your repitive words with your eyes open
