What a sick thing to do! Why does he mess about with these things? What kind of church can go along with this? Our faith says 'touch not the unclean thing'.

The mark of the Beast will not be a tattoo, but more likely a microchip - of a certain kind - and those that do this will indeed be damned Rev. 13:16-18; 14:9-11. However, although the time is fast approaching, it is not yet.

Although a tattoo like this will not send your friend to hell (whether he goes to church or not) I really think that his attitude shows that he is 'cocking a snook' at God and making a game out of spirituality and for this there will come a time of judgment. Your friend is playing around with Christian things and doesn't know God at all.

What about you? Why do you ask such questions? If you read your Bible, you wouldn't need to ask because you would know the answers to these things.

Be warned, God is not mocked. Woe to such people when his patience runs out!

Came BACK from California with 666 tattooed on his arm, eh? That's an old trick (not to assume he is guilty though) we use when we've been naughty and arrested and our booking records show no scars or tattoos on our bodies. We get a tattoo and when called back on a failure to appear, tell the judge it wasn't me--someone used my identity, look, I have a tattoo and the cops say I didn't. Case dismissed. Either that or he just raised a little "hell" and got talked into a poor judgment circumstance. Personally, I wouldn't have a tattoo of anything symbolic on my person for any reason whatsoever. I'd just leave the subject alone; he will realize his error soon enough.

666 means six hundred and sixty six. This is not what is going to open heaven or hell to him. The relationship he has with his Heavenly Father is what matters! Tattooing 666 on his arm can let me speculate that he may not be having a good relationship with God; otherwise, why would he want to tattoo the sing of the beast on his arm?

You have the wrong view of 'hell'.
In the Bible, Hell is Hades.
and it is not a permanent place.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Anything in fire is destroyed.

So there will no longer be death. And along wioth that goes man's grave.
no death= no graves.

so Hell is simply our grave.

As to tattoos.

(Leviticus 19:28) “‘And YOU must not make cuts in YOUR flesh for a deceased soul, and YOU must not put tattoo marking upon yourselves. I am Jehovah.

God's word says do not do it.

A tat doesn't have anything to do with salvation. I know a lot of guys that came to with tattoo's they never meant to get.
Stop judging this friend . Ask him his testimony, and go to church with him.
what about you? Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior? Judgment is upon us all. Do you change your thinking. Or.
The end is near repent.

No, your friend has joined a gang. He has probably joined the Aryan Brotherhood. The 666 tattoo is on of thier symbols. You might want to ask him.

It means he's read a corrupted version of the bible and actually thinks 666 is the number of the beast.

In fact it is 616 as archaeologists recently discovered.

Maybe he can have them burn off the middle 6 with lasers so he can get it redone.

His tattoo is not "the mark" However, I would question why he specifically chose that number sequence. There is some fruity pastor who has his people get tattoos of 666 on themselves. He says he is the antichrist, because the churches are teaching the wrong Jesus. Is he a member of that church, perhaps?

NO, you are too concerned with your own belief's. Maybe your friend goes to church for a sense of faith and spirituality instead of the rules that the church imposes.

John 3:16 makes it clear that no matter what you do, if you believe Jesus was the son of God, you will go to Heaven. No one knows what, if anything, is meant by the "mark of the beast" in Revelation.
