When we learn to properly look after the earth, He may let us out there.
(Isaiah 45:18) For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.

He did not create the universe...simply for nothing.

Why did God made the universe with so many planets, stars, etc.? Who knows - because God is God, He can.

"not only the earth where we are living?" - this doesn't make sense. Earth IS the only planet where humans are living. We may have found planets with similar conditions but NONE with life as evidence.

He made a HUGE universe. There are things yet to be discovered that He put here for us.

DO you realize what you are asking?

The Earth is only a tiny planet. We're nothing in the big scheme of things.

You can't be asking why He only created the Earth and nothing else?

The Earth would die if it weren't for the Sun to warm it, the moon to control tides, etc.

Christ taught that we are in fact one with God, we just aren't aware. The entire creation is an illusion that has taken on reality because WE created it. When Adam went to sleep in the Genesis account no verse says he woke up. Some have realized and awakened but we haven't seen one so aware in ages. Many are stirring though and as the age comes to an end great upheavals will happen so sorrows will multiply to remind us all to awaken.

The universe is an ongoing creation. Once we achieve everlasting life, again, we will probably travel to other planets, and, perhaps, inhabit the entire universe. Also, some of these stars serve as a beautiful decoration to the sky, at night; all of these for our enjoyment.

God CREATED the universe unlimited like His Wisdom.

Who said there is no life on other planets...... we have knowledge that takes us only to the moon and back.

To show God's power and Glory...He seems to like very, very complicated things and is fully capable of creating them. It also shows how incredibly special we are....in the whole universe, we are the only living beings. Jeremy might be somewhat right too.

Makes you think doesn't it?There are also no doubt species of life on our own planet we will never discover(at deep ocean depth etc),so begs the question as to why you would create them if you were god?

Because (I believe) the Universe is full of life.

It is pretty arrogant to think that we humans are the only things He ever created, especially as we share this planet alone with millions of different species of life!

I have heard the idea that if Adam and Eve had not sinned, therefore we would not die, we might need these other planets for energy sources or to move to. Imagine, how advanced we would be if we never died, we could colonize these other planets and star systems if we needed to. But that's just a thought. I don't know if I totally agree, but its interesting I think.
