if not china town you could try the food halls at the good department stores:
Selfridges, Fortnum & Masons, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
Selfridges and Harrods also have separate ice cream counters but they are very italian.

i work in a wagamama branch outside the UK and they have green tea ice cream on the menu. Pretty sure you'd be able to get it in the wagamama in london as well.
