if he works alot and travels, that means he's married. because you type in text code says that you are 14. it's his way of saying "things are complicated with my wife and i don't want to get busted talking to you. when her suspicions blow over, i MIGHT get in touch, but i probably won't."

I think he is saying that he needs to slow down and doesn't really want to hear from you anymore. But he's using timeout as a way just to keep you dangling. Dint be his puppet. He is stupid for not picking up the phone and calling you and telling you this.

I'm sorry, but it sounds as if he's dumped you. I think if I were you, then I'd just stop SMSing him, and leave it at that. if he has any interest in you, then eventually he will contact you. The ball is in his court now. Don't chase him. It won't do you any good. If he did mean something else by 'time out' (unlikely), then he will ask you why you haven't SMSed him. Then you can tell him, and he can apologise.

i would take it like how you think
sounds to me like he doesnt want to hear from you only you know the context though
ask yourself was i pestering being to needy etc etc did you make him mad if none of that is the case ask him what he means he needs a time out for. and if he says he just needs time to think that means he dont want to talk anymore i wouldnt wait for him but if you do want to wait tell him to call when hes done finding himself

What a wuss. He should be a man and pick up the phone and tell you that he want's a "break" or "time out". Lose the zero and get with a hero.

It appears rather a strange parting comment bordering on rude side,

It's exactly what you think.
Ages is a long time to be texting.
I don't get free texts.
I'd need a time out too.
