Why do christians keep answering questions relating to the creation of satan with :god didn't make him evil,it was his greed etc..?Surely they can see that an Omnipotent allknowing god would have known in advance of his greed,desires,selfishness etc and hence created him exactly as he was meant to be?

Stop throwing free will in to the equation as this is a non-argument.An all knowing god would know regardless of free will.

I suppose they would answer that then we would all be robots, having no free will. So why bother creating us. Now I don't believe a lot of this stuff, but due to a religious upbringing was fed a lot of it.
The idea is that God created everything with free will, and let us make our own mistakes.
(INSERTED EDIT) So without the free will concept, we are left with these conclusions (and possibly others), God knew that Satan was going to be bad, and that was the plan. Or, God is not all knowing after all, and is actually a lot more like us than we thought. Just a scientist tinkering. (END EDIT)
So in my view, that's saying that 'heaven', if there is such a place, is no different from here.
It says in the Bible that Satan and his demonic hoard were expelled from heaven following a war. So they really are the same as us. They had a war for C's sake. So what makes them think they are better than us, and have any right to judge us?
Sorry I've got onto something that should be a new thread I suppose.
All I can say is, if I end up in front of some heavenly tribunal ,I'll say, 'I don't recognise this court's authority!'

It is call FREE WILL! I can follow Him or not. It's my choice. Satan chose to separate himself from God. Satan is done recruiting more angels, now, he is recruiting more and more people.
Because God knew what was going to happen, that is exactly why He let creation take this current path. The question that Satan brought up with his actions was the humans are able to continue living without God, being like gods. These proved to be a lie; therefore, we are putting our faith on God that He will make everything new again for us, without Satan, without evil. Since this questions has been answered, God will not allow evil again after the was of Armageddon.

Examined your self and see yourself why God despite He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent has created us, giving us our own free will.
If you do not have your own free will, maybe this time you're not here on Yahoo Q & A! You are where God will switch on your button and obey Him without a doubt for you are like a robot if you do not have your own free will! that's why people has their own choices as God and Lord Jesus Christ has given us, Deuteronomy 11:26-28. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that "WHOSOEVER" believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Amen.
God and Lord Jesus Christ, is a loving God. And just did not create us like robots or machines? Else what is the worth of living if all of us, even angels is like robots waiting when to be switch on?
Asks this to yourself: Is all of us has same mind, same attitude, same qualities,same etc...same etc? If your answer is yes then, your question is sensible!

Not to mention they alway say that Satan was jealous of us(Humans) Why would he be? He was created with the knowledge of Good and evil. The idea of satan is so utterly retarded that I cannot fathom how people can actually think he is real. I mean it utterly blows my mind.

Its because he wanted his special creatures to have a free will and actually choose to do whats right and not just be programmed like a robot or something. So even though it brings about a lot of problems God doesn't interfere with free will
