I agree entirely, either stick to your principles in the face of adversity or abandon altogether, don't try and invent some new twist to back up what you THOUGHT you believe.Seems like they're trying to convince themselves more than others.

Intelligent design or creationism is merely the scientific pursuit of a Biblical explanation of how God created the universe and man. It makes much more sense than evolution since we are finding out that real science does in fact support the Bible account of creation not evolution. We can be certain that God's Word is true...our faith is justified. God does have "omniscience" or all-knowledge.
Life had to be created by an intelligent designer...it's impossible for life to have begun on it's own from non-living materials, DNA is such a complex and compact code that it had to have been designed, how would information like DNA have begun by itself, we have no real scientific, observable, testable proof that evolution from lower life forms to higher ones takes place or is possible and the Big Bang theory does not explain where all the matter in the universe came from to begin with nor how laws of nature came into being.
For 150 years, Darwinism and evolution theory have been chipping away at people's belief in God as the Creator and giving people doubts as to whether anything in the Bible is true if the creation account were false. Why would we need a redeemer like Jesus if we are just higher forms of animals? We are blessed to have real scientific proof throught the efforts of creationists and other credible scientists to show that God is the Creator of all things...just like He says. I'll take God's wisdom over man's wisdom.

It's a time tested fact that to reconcile scripture with science you MUST pervert at least one of the two. Find a bt of science that contradicts scripture and you'll get one of two answers form Christians:
A) Science is wrong.
B) You didn't read it [scripture] right. (i.e. it's 'not to be taken literally).
Many Christians have no problem saying that the bible isn't literally true; but not a one is willing to cross the line and say it's literally false. ID is just the newest (well not new, exactly; it's been around for 200 years or so) way to force things to make sense to people who's narrow minds prevent them form accepting truth if it would force them to let go of their most coveted beliefs.

First you can not be a Christian and accept intelligent design.
If you are a Christian you have to believe God created Adam and Eve. And the entire Bible including the fact That God the Father so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. And if you believe that you can not believe in intelligent design. And if you don't believe that you can't be a Christian, to be a Christian means to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ and the only teaching we have of His is the Bible.
It seem the biggest hang up the intelligent designers have is the age of the earth but I have never had anyone tell me how long Adam and Eve lived in the garden.
The Bible has been proved more than any other history book.
And finally I am still waiting for intelligent designers to explain the origin of life from the beginning.

If an Entity did create count number ought to it no longer or might it no longer seem at what it created? An Entity that should create such intricacies on the subatomic point might it no longer have seen an inelegant being in guy? The Bible isn't the only e book that talks approximately Jesus the Koran, the Torah, besides as many community Indian thoughts all communicate approximately Jesus. So returned on your significant question why could you think approximately your self Christian. i think of that, that Entity which created count number observed mans struggles with life. Biblical literalism is an intellectual blind alley.
"Intelligent design" is simply poorly disguised "creationism", which in turn is untenable in the light of modern science.
There is nothing respectable about holding onto beliefs in the face of overwhelming contrary evidence. That's called "delusion".
The basic problem is literalism in the reading of religious texts, which dishonours not only science but also the wisdom contained in the mythos of religions. Religious texts are not scientific or historical treatises. A lot of people have trouble telling the difference.

ID is merely how a spin doctor presents creationism.
Imagine how an advertising agency would try to sell creationism and you have the measure of it. ID is not intended to persuade believers, it is intended to persuade new mugs that religious belief has a valid basis.
Both are total and utter rubbish that deserve no respect at all.

Intelligent design is not a science, it's still the belief in a creator. It just sounds more scientific!

The Bible is God's word, the voice you hear talking to you is God. I believe in God's word. Now as to why others maybe trying to PROVE and justify God's word, maybe they've heard a calling to some degree that they need to prove to nonbelievers there is really God...some folks just know that no matter what they will keep digging. And if they so choose to do so, with God helping them...good for them. God Bless!
