Everyone will need to make their own choice to believe and obey God or not. God will never force anyone to love Him. I will pray for your family to come to know God. You are the example they will be watching. I will pray for you too.

Wow, What a tough position to be in. Know that we serve a God of Hope, and I will pray for your family right now.
To answer the question- Jesus does not send anyone to hell, anymore than a lifeguard drowns people. People are automatically going to hell because they are not perfect. Jesus comes along and offers to pay for our imperfection by dying on a cross. If I refuse to let him rescue me, then I am still going to hell. Just like if a person refuses the help of a lifeguard, they will drown, despite his best efforts.

I hope this helps. Remeber, Jesus's own brothers did not believe in Him at first, but later believed, and even wrote books of the Bible. I pray that you will be the testimony that brings your family into his love.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

For the umpteenth time, God does not send people to hell for "not believing in Him." Pray for them but don't preach to them. If you live a good life your example will mean far more than any words you might say.

It is stated in the bible that those who believe in God will have an everlating life with Him...
I think you should try to convince your parents to believe in God.. gave them ways to believe in Him.. like sharing life-changing stories that God has done to an individual or a group of people...
or the least you can do is to pray to God... to help your parents see the light that God wanted for them... to change their hearts into a heart filled with enlightenment...
try it! it really works!!
as this applies to the life of St. Augustine...
as you know... he was once a pagan... a non believer of Christ.... but his mother, St. Monica, who was ever loving, patient and God-fearing... prayed all the time to God to change his son to be a God-fearing and self-righteous one..
so God interfered with St. Augustine's life one day...
and eventually, he became a saint...!
have faith...

It depends on the circumstances. If someone who spent a few years as a prisoner in the Lora navel base in Split, Croatia, for example, doesn't believe in God, I think it would be crazy to think he/she would "go to hell" because of this.

You believe in a God that you think might send your family to hell just for not believing in him? Wow. So...why do you believe in him now? Surely there must be a rational reason...

Everyone has their own spiritual journey. They get to decide how theirs will go. Please do not get upset about how other people believe, they have to find their own path. You have chosen yours, they have theirs. When you start assuming that people are going to hell, you are putting yourself into a place of judgment, Only God can do that.

No, just because you believe in a sadistic torturer god doesn't mean one exists.

Have you ever considered praying for the billions of good people god is having tortured in hell forever?

Read The God Delusion, understand what religion is, how it works and how harmful it is, and be freed from it forever.

Nobody has ever provided any evidence that any gods, much less a specific god, exist. People believe in specific gods because of indoctrination from an early age, tradition, hallucinations, fear of torture (for gods sadistic enough to threaten it) and other similarly illogical reasons. But no gods exist in reality; these are all stories, created for people who were scared of the world long before we understood it. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
