Although it occurs to me that Deism is probably a better fit for the "light beer of the masses" than agnosticism is. Oh well, it's late and I'm getting tired.

Deism would be the light beer, definitely. I'd say agnosticism would be the vicodin of the masses.

agnosticism... or doubt is almost as bad as religion. living your life in doubt or uncertainty is no way to live. make a decision. expand your mind.
