Universally known fact that not only in Asia, but also Corruption is rampantly alive in all other parts of the World. But the root cause of the corruption is Politics. Poverty also opens the door of corruption.
All are involved in this activity. People are not only businessmen, employees , politicians and others who have vested with powers and who are misusing their powers are involved.
Politicians with vested interest for earning unlimited wealth.
Employees in key positions having selfish interests to earn wealth.
Businessmen to do more-business by corrupting others.
Procedural delays also opened the doors of corruption in some parts of world.
Wealthy people for their survival with an Identity also caused corruption.
To bye-pass the systems also corruption paving the way.
More competition also giving a way to corruption to aquire.
Few people to attain lavish-life in a larger gathering also opening the ways of corruption.
In the Modern-world Time value is increasing which also causing the corruption.
Lack of Morals also is the root cause of corruption.
All these factors are equally responsible for corruption not only in Asia but also in the world in this Modern world.

Well first of all, I think yours is an unfair albeit ignorant statement. Countries like Singapore (5th position), Japan (17 th) etc have the lowest corruption rates in the world. They are ahead of the US which stands at number 20. Even India at number 70 stands ahead of most African and many South American nations. So please check your facts.
Secondly corruption is deeprooted in the poverty and politics of the country. So it becomes mandatory for a businessman to give bribes in order to run his business. Therefore you cant put the blame on any single individual or community of people.
