What would be most silly is 100% anything in America. Our diversity and freedom is what makes America so great, and the envy of countries which claim to have 100% of it's citizens adhere to one religion.

Yes I think it would. Wiccan religion can be as astringent as any other organized religion such as a group that would meet every festival and charted time of observance. And it would be a little boring with everyone believing the same. Now if everyone was considered Pagan then that would be more diverse and it would be more informative as to what others thought and a discussion of different aspects of beliefs and adhere to the peaceful paths that all of us wish to be on.
Organized religions whether it be Wiccan, Christian, Islam, ect would still be an organized with different branches of each would still cause heated controversies over how things should be done in the name of that religion.
To each his own and let us agree to disagree and everyone walk the path of peace.
Blessed be

Maybe it's from social conditioning, I don't know. But, I would not consider politics and belief strucure as combining. People are diverse by nature, and I like it that way. Once you mix the two, diversity becomes irrelevant. yet it is necessary I think for a more well rounded society. I doubt America ever was or will be a christian or any other kind of country. Except that Islam will make every attempt to convert everyone, by their usual means. Convert or have your head cut off.

Basically, it used to be. The Wiccan beliefs and those of the American Indians are pretty much the same. The Earth is a living thing that must be respected and nourished. Everything comes from the Earth, and returns to it in a cycle of life. Then the white christians came and screwed it all up, which is where we are today.

I can't help but like the idea of an atheist country. I can dream, can't I? But the idea of people in the US agreeing 100% on anything is pretty silly -- be it atheism, Christianity, or Wicca. I think the the closest we got to agreeing 100% was when we refused to adopt the metric system.

Not really. I'm a Christian, but I support religious freedom and diversity. A country that's 100% anything would be a pretty boring (and scary) place.

If it had to be 100%, I'd much prefer a Wiccan country over the other two but I'd rather it remain diverse.

Yikes... I don't want to even let the thought enter my head of 100% christian. I would have to find a cave somewhere...

100% atheist could happen, but 100% Christian? Never.

Good point. You can't get 5 people together who can agree on their favorite pizza toppings, let alone their religious beliefs.
