Of course they haven't catered to Jr. yet. He's been driving for DEI all these years. But after he starts driving for HMS, then NASCAR will be kissing his tail like they do Gordon and Johnson.

I would be curious to know what you mean by NASCAR kissing their tail. Both team had suspensions this year if I am not mistaken, as did Jr. All teams play by the same rules, like it or not. It sounds like you are jealous of the success at HMS, but as with any sport the tides will turn soon enough. Wasn't it just a couple years ago that Rousch had 5 drivers in the chase or something like that? Now look at the team. So if you want to continue being a hater that is fine, but give credit where credit is due. HMS excelled this year because they mastered the COT and have amazing drivers. End of story.

NASCAR doesn't "cater" to ANY driver.
If they were going to :cater: to Junior..you would have already
seen it..he'd be in the chase.
And if NASCAR has :catered: to Gordon & Johnson.......
where's the proof?

Its not Nascar that caters to the drivers....Its the media and all their hype....I'm sure we will see all these questions next yr here on Y/A..Its going to be the main topic next yr everywhere . He will have more success with HMS, and I'm happy he is going there..I'm sure in Daytona its going to be a total media circus, so get your ears ready... I'm a huge Dale Jr fan, and with Jimmie and Jeff....I hope the media doesn't forget Casey Mears, he's a team member as well....

As much as I like all 3 drivers and happy Dale Jr is going to HMS, I do not think NASCAR caters to Gordon or Johnson now.
Whether people want to believe it or not, NASCAR is fair. We might not always agree with the decisions but they are fair. There is too much money at stake not to be fair.

NASCAR doesn't cater to anybody, otherwise Johnson would have won at Kansas, and Steve LeTarte and Chad Knaus would have never been suspended. If they were catering to anybody, Dale Jr would have been declared the Cup Champion, because he brings in the most money. Okay, I exagerate.
It is the Media that is doing the catering, and that is because Jeff Gordon won the regular season and is leading in points for the Chase.

Jr is the most popular driver there is....
He's not even in the Chase and he's still the most popular.
If Nascar was going to cater to him, you would have already seen it. They don't cater to anyone. HMS is just gooooood!

Yeah, HMS is winning the most races and Nascar would want to kiss their rear...
but the 8 is raking in the cash! They would still want to cater to him for one reason or the next if that was the case.

Possibly. And they do cater to some drivers but they don't love Gordon as much as everyone thinks they do.
