Make sure you put alot of face lotion on after baths, at night, in the morning.. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but it keeps your face hydrated. Your face produces alot of oil when its not properly hydrated too...

Oh dear! Don't worry though, you're not alone! I was like that once too, it's horrible! Try cleaning your face day and night to make sure as much oil is off your face as you can, and make sure you pat dry, not rub, with a towel after-wards. There's also a scrub that I use three times a week, and it really helped my skin! It's great because it's home made with stuff you can usually just find in your kitchen and it removes all of your dead skin, which oil likes to cling to. 3 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (This will not clog your pores or make your face more oily! Just make sure it's Extra Virgin or else it will clog your pores) 2 Tablespoons of Organic Honey (It does not have to be organic, but normal honey tends to make your skin dryer) And half a cup of sugar! Just mix it all up in a plastic container, and use a spoon to take out a small amount and rub all over the skin at night. (If you do it during the day, your pores will be opened by the scrub and will be more sensitive to the light, so you can get burnt and irritated easier) Just be warned that after you've left the scrub for a day, the sugar will harden slightly and push the oil to the top, so just scoop about half a teaspoon of the sugar stuff up, and dip it in the oil so it's not too rough on your skin. Good Luck!

Problems like oily or dry skin respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results.
In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.
Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.

Witch Hazel. It can close the pores and make your skin dry. You can get it from most drug stores. and then first wash your face with a gentle soap and then apply it on your face using a cotton ball. You should also drink plenty of carrot juice or rockmelon. The vit A and Vit C are generally very good for skin.

An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

You can try taking Vitamin A or Beta-carotene. You need 15,000 - 25,000 IU daily. Whenever I take at least 15,000 IU my skin gets dryer.
