that's why you have an immune system, you sound a bit paranoid to me, maybe you should mention that next time you are at your doctors.

I do see your factor, yet medical doctors deserve a destroy in the course of the day like everybody else. they now and again get in the back of agenda because some sufferers carry them up by technique of asking question after question previous their scheduled appointment time. it really is tremendous, because the healthcare specialist's do not concepts answering questions, even though it does carry them up. i'm particular you've had an incident that you requested a number of questions for and also you likely held some different person up. that is in basic terms the way it extremely works. possibly you're there for a sore throat, although the fellow before you've in basic terms realized they have maximum cancers... so attempt to remember that the subsequent time you pass, and also that medical doctors are nonetheless human beings and nonetheless opt for breaks in the course of the day. Oh, and that i have an in basic terms about 3 365 days previous, so i comprehend the position you're coming from, that is in basic terms what i attempt to remember when I get annoyed!

Eveything is covered in germs and bugs. Our natural defences, our lymph glands, take care of the problem and fight off any attack.

People only get sick if they are run-down and unable to fight off an attack by the billions of bugs which surround us.

There's a simple rule which states you must wash your hands before eating food. Never put your fingers in your mouth, ears or nose without washing them first.

The most likely source of bugs which will make people sick are those lurking on such as hand-rails on buses and trains. Far more bugs there than any Doctor's waiting room - promise. Same rule applies to eating out.

Take care and stop worrying. We're all going to die, but not yet.

Yucky... I think about that all the time. I only pick one up if I've been there for over an hour and don't know when I'm going to be called. Even then, I make sure it's one that looks newer. Otherwise, I have state CMSP/Medical insurance, so when I go to the dentist, or to any place that has high-traffic, I will NOT touch the magazines, door handles, counter.. i hate to even use the pens.

I bring my own reading material, touch nothing that I can help, never my face, and wash my hands once in the exam room. Then use antibacterial gel before I touch my car/ door. You have no idea how many people cough into their hands and then grab that pull bar!
Also, I try not to sit next to anyone. You can be as careful as you want, but if someone should sneeze or cough on you, then it is all for naught. Just use common sense and good handwashing.

I always assume everything I touch has germs on it. Especially in the Dr. office, but I do read the magazines. Just don't touch your face until you wash your hands.

I am a self-proclaimed germaphobe. Just going to the doctor's office for a check up I usually wind up sick. . . so I have to be really ill to go.

I NEVER thought about the magazines - but yet carry my own pen to write with and keep hand sanitizer in my purse.

I will never read another doctor's office magazine again! Eww - how many people sneezed on those pages! YUCK!

I read them if there's anything worth looking at. Think about it - other patients viruses will be in more places than just the magazines.

I read them. Most people with infectious diseases go to the walk-in clinics where you don't have to wait for the appointment. I don't read their magazines at walk-in clinics in flu season. Mainly, I hope that my immune system is up to fighting off diseases. I do like to read while waiting so sometimes I bring my own.
