Jealous? Not really. Our church has Easter egg hunts out on the lawn every year, and there's no harm in the Easter Bunny as long as the actual religious message of the season gets through.

I love the easter bunny. Who hates the easter bunny? How can someone hate a big giant scary bunny that breaks into your house hiding candy that attracts ants?

I dont see anything wrong with mixing secular traditions with religious holidays. It brings more memorable memories to the holiday and makes great traditions. The easter bunny is harmless. I think people take some things too seriously. My family does the egg hunt on saturday and the religious services part on sunday.

Most holidays that have religious overtones have all been deemed Illegal and Intolerant. The Easter Bunny has no significance to Christians and seems to Offend people......Christians Celebrate the Birth, Life and Resurrection of Christ...What was that I heard about the First Amendment?

Would it make you happier that everyday is droll, humdrum and boring with nothing happy or even a fantasy to celebrate? It's bad when people are so grown, Religious or irreligious and know everything that they become flat with No imagination....Those don't mind infringing on everybody Else's Free Speech Rights...Accept Islam, Satanists, Wicca and the Raelians of the outer space Cult..and have not discovered How to let other people do within reason what they want to. MYOB! You would think it is porno or child predators...now that should be outlawed.

I was never allowed to believe in the Easter bunny, (nor Santa Claus, Halloween, tooth fairy, etc) b/c my dad said he never wanted to lie to me & my siblings. I've never believed, had an Easter Egg Hunt, etc. So I'm only jealous of the kids who do get to do things on that day, not of the easter bunny itself.

No way! The Easter bunny brings me candy and little toys. How can they be jealous if they profit from him?

Easter has nothing to do with the church, it is a commercial holiday. Jesus rose on Saturday night.

No, but how did the Cristian's go from death on the cross and resurrection to a fluffy bunny who lays chocolate eggs.

Someone had too much communion wine that day.

No - I am saddened by the prominence given to man-made traditions which have nothing to do with Scripture. And that includes Easter and Christmas.
