what are the possible reasons a guy would stay with his gf, and not pursue the one he loves?

Yes. it is also possible to be MARRIED and to love someone else IN ADDITION to your spouse. The thing is, if you are married, it is harder to break bonds and venture out to see if a new relationship would work, so you probably just end up staying,. OR you end up cheating, which is BAD all around (Don't do that, it ain't cool). Take your time and time will tell who you shold be with. Good luck!

YES! it is very much possible. sometimes the guy, or girl, yes, even girls feel like a responsability or like they owe thier boy/girl friend to stay with them since they've gone through the rough n tough. maybe one of them is engaged, whatever the case it's not honest. & if you're in love with another person, you'll never be truly happy with the one you are with. you'll always have that other person on your mind and keep wondering what if. there's just some people your mind always has to come back to

He doesn't want to hurt his gf feelings most likely or even the possiblity he knows the other girl would probably freak or turn him down if he breaks up with his gf.

yes its possible. if you know the woman you love is either not interested or already taken. the guy would not want to go through life alone. he will find someone he is compatable with and can even nejoy their company or love . even if they love the first girl more.

Yes. He would stay with his gf because she has been reliable all throughout. Compared this to the other girl that might be 'not so nice' after all.

yes it's always possible.. veen those married ones get the chance to have another mini wife or the so called mistress.. it will only depend upon his gf on how she would have him for herself...
