What polls are you reading?
Whether the war in Iraq was launched under false pretenses or not is not the question anymore. We are there. We are doing great things. Like others have mentioned, we have built up the infrastructure significantly. The major problem area is now pretty much only Baghdad.
The solution does not reside in the why we are there, it resides in how we finish what we started. The brave men and women who serve in Iraq are winning. I really don't care what CNN or Fox News says. I listen to the returning vets.

If by "wrong" you mean "We shouldn't have gone there to begin with", then I agree that a majority of Americans believe the war in Iraq is wrong. But if you mean "being in Iraq right now is wrong"...then YOU are wrong.
"Our" troops were already fighting al-Qaeda(sp?) in Afghanistan, and being spread a bit thin at that, when Shrubbie decided that he had to invade Iraq as well. Yes, "invade" - but it was called "pre-emptive strike" to disguise the fact that Georgie-boy wanted a Real War. (Imagine, if you will, conducting a "pre-emptive strike" on your friend by hitting him square in the nose - just because he MIGHT do the same to you tomorrow. In legal terms, it's called "Assault" - not "defense".)
Our government NEEDS to get our troops out of Iraq ASAP, before the situation there degrades completely into another Viet Nam-style quagmire we won't be able to get out of for the next ten years. There is no "fallacy" in this, no matter how certain politicians want to spin it; Iraq is already spiralling into a civil war, and the mere presence of our troops brought al-Qaeda(sp?) into Iraq (there was no evidence that al-Qaeda was there previously). EVERY excuse used for the U.S. Military presence in Iraq has been shown to be just that: An excuse.
But, our troops are there, and now that the mess has been made, it needs to be cleaned up. And the attitude that the U.S.A. is above International Law and has the "right" to do whatever it wants is the very reason so many other Nations wish to see "us" eradicated and "Blackwater USA" is being BOOTED out of Iraq: That out-dated, Colonial-Imperialist Cowboy We-Are-Better-Than-Everyone Else attitude.

You really need to get the facts straight. Most americans support our troops as a catch phrase, but in reality most americans believe that things are not being handled properly, and understand the war and support the troops for their valiant efforts.
It is those people in the nation who only want their positions in life heard, and have the liberty of having the ear of twisted media news networks who don't report anything but the negative things.
When was the last time you heard about a new school or running water/sewer systems or even electricity in cities that never had it. My brother in law was there and can tell you of several cities that have all of these things. The news will only tell you about deaths and bombings so they can carry out their own political policies to promote the desires of the liberal candy as***

all and multiple can say what he needs, yet when someone connects the be conscious "Islamist" with "Saddam Hussein" that is in basic terms racist and stupid. Saddam Hussein did not provide a sh** aout Islam he become even attacked by technique of non secular leaders because of his un-islamic behaviour. Saddam cared as a lot about Islam as George Bush cared about christianity! Republicans say Bush become misinformed. what's he? A 4 365 days previous? Iraq become no longer something yet mass homicide and for that reason Bush because the significant mass assassin should be despatched to Den Haag like Slobodan Milosevic.

It would be a start.
I don't think you will find many Iraq's in Iraq, no, it's all those privatized corporations that we are paying for with our tax dollars that are killing innocent people and taking the jobs away from our soldiers and turning Iraq into an American Corporation, no wonder the Iraq's are so thrilled. Halliburton set up water facilities that has pathogens and our men are coming home sick to a Vets Administration that can't take care of them, if there are injured not alone the pathogens that are floating in there bodies causing them to be sick. And here is a new thought, with our boys coming home infected from this polluted water that Halliburton let our boys drink and the CDC, not saying anything about this M.R.S.E. epidemic that is happening now, which they have known about since 2005, maybe there is something our government isn't telling us. And why has it taken so long for the CDC to say anything about this? Or is this a biological weapon that our own government has let lose on us?

What is our troo? That would be a logical fallacy. Belief in something being wrong does not logically lead to stopping it.

You're wrong.
A majority of Americans (by some polls only) don't like how the war is being handled.
That DOES NOT mean that they don't support the war.
Misrepresenting statistics or polls is lying.
We win, you lose.
Works for us.

first of all.... ALL WAR IS technically "WRONG"
Second of all... we should be in Afghanistan, Syria, and IRAN.
There is no question we went to war under false pretenses -even the most devout GOP must admit that.
But now that we are there, we do have to stick it out and solve it.
However....... our monkey of a president has wasted american lives, and weakened us in places we REALLY need to be fighting.
Personally I think the troops should come home tomrorrow. I also think they should be sent immidiatly to Iran.
