I have a film camera and I want to take pictures of anything that would look good. It has several different modes (DEP, SF, etc.), and if you could tell me which mode to use for what kind of photo, that would be great.

DEP means Depth of Field, and SF means Soft Focus. The manual says that, and I don't think every camera has different names for them....

Pets always make good photographs, at least in my opinion. Especially when they're just doing the things they always do (instead of someone tryin to get them to hold still for a pic)...sometimes you can end up with photos that are hilarious or cute.

shape, texture, contrast, interest, exotic et cetera

anything is good to photograph - the key is lighting

film i like shooting during the golden or money hours - change of light - occurs twice a day. Reproprosity failure is awesome.

Things that are old photograph well -- like old hands,old cars.. anything that is worn withdetail and texture
