hey i am a 13 year old kid, i recently watched a vid on little robots, that were powered by solar energy, and moved towards light. I have no previous experienc with robotics, it a hoddy that i think i want 2 pick up. So if anyone knows a simple, and cool robot i can build out of house hold items batteries, wires stuff you can buy from ace and walmart. Please, i am really interested!

your local hobby shop should have allot of good starter kits RC airplanes for example use radio frequencies to operate individual armature motors with linkage to separate moving parts get creative mix it up a bit , learn with kit but don't limit yourself. Good luck! Hope you stay interested and progress. it can be very satisfying and financially lucrative hobby/career. Go to google and type in "hobby, robot" you will find lots of results. There are so many out there find one that intrest you.

Sure, you can build a robot. First, figure out how to use a search engine. Then you'll find thousands of hobby sites on the net that are devoted to hobbyists building robots.
