Okay... I am sick and tired of this. Why do so many of you and others STILL insist that evolution says that humans came from monkeys? Why?! We evolved from ape-like creatures. Monkeys are our COUSINS.
This is such a simple concept...

Is this a joke? "Those who says human beings came from monkeys are persons who have no religion and does no belief in God."
I just said that we DIDN'T come from monkeys, and I'm an atheist. It's the Creationists who believe that evolution says we came from monkeys.
You completely missed the point. Typical.

"So are you a man or a mouse?"
Neither... woman. *smiles*
Yeah, maybe I should've phrased the question as "monkey to human?" instead, now that I think about it.

I know it annoys me also.
I think it's just a simple (if erroneous) meme that simple people have latched onto.
& unfortunately those simple people are to busy patting themselves on the back - believing themselves to be clever - that they don't relaise just how they are making an Ape of themselves.

The "from monkeys" phrase is a tactical ploy. It is not found in Darwin's work.
The sentence, "have you ever seen evolution in progress?" is also a standardized FC language grenade. The reality is that biological laboratories are continually forcing adaptations and testing the outcome. That is evolution. The same FCs who deny evolution might be using it to breed dogs or horses. We are all certainly eating it as a result of the green revolution.
No matter how much these realities are pointed out, the logic does not ecape the FCs, it bounces off their fear of not obeying. The compulsion to be herded and taken care of by an outside force is deep and powerful. Then, you have to add the financial motivation of the ministers into the mix. Those people are trained in emotional manipulation.
Logic is not the issue, transference of responsibility is.

(1) If life is visible , it can also be invisible (thats where dead go)
(2) The invisible life , created cell like creatures, in the beginning.
(3) For every creature, life is most dear, as death is most painful.
(4) So the cellular life started adapting to harshness of environment thru mutation & natural selection.
(5) The will to survive caused them to make colonies and live together as organism as it had more chances of survival. So various creatures were born.
(6) These creatures further evolved into better ones and still better ones to the present types as per changing requirements , mutating and selecting best candidates.

It's the only way Creationists know of to try and make the theory of evolution sound silly and untenable. They don't seem capable of attacking the idea, so they resort to describing it in a distorted way in order to play down the fact that their own alternative is the epitome of ludicrous.

If this so called "theory of evolution" was true than why is there no in between? Come on seriously??? Millions of years ago there was an ape that started turning into a man?? How can some scientist 'know' what happened a million years ago? Its ridiculous, furthermore the reason i believe that the stupid evolution theory is a bunch of crap is because God created Adam and Eve, Adam first and the Eve from Adam's rib. Adam named each and every animal that God created.
THANK GOD I HAVE FAITH IN MY LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Please God, teach me daily the knowledge of your word and to have worth and trust in you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

MOUSE TO MAN!
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2002/12/05/MN153329.DTL&type=science
The mouse in genetic history
75 million-125 million years ago
The common ancestor of mice and humans known as Eomaia scansoria was the earliest known representative of the Eutheria lineage, which gave rise to all modern placental mammals.
On a letter-by-letter basis, the genes are 85 percent the same.
So are you a man or a mouse?

I think evolution says a common ancestor
But we are more important than a tree, rat or pig cause we are in Gods image.
If not than we would be no better than anything else, no wonder the number 1 killer of young people is suicide, they are being taught in schools, they are animals!! Instead of a special person, that their God and Creator LOVES deeply.

If they understood what they are arguing against then they wouldn't argue against it. Anything short of a high school science education won't work and I doubt that you have the time nor want the responsibility of teaching it (I know I don't). This is why I have become more pro-active about education reform. Our education system is broken, as evidenced by so many people lacking one.

Honey, these are the same people who think every creature in the world got on a boat and floated around for nearly a year. It's hard for them to understand. Realize their IQ's aren't up to speed.
