One can believe in God and evolution. They do not contradict one another.

(1) No. And you are right to use the word "believe" in the case of Evolution because all it is is speculation--another word for myth.
(2) I don't have to believe that God created everyone & everything either directly or indirectly, I can know it from His infallible Word. But besides that the evidence is all around us (Romans 1:20). This is called general revelation--that a Creator exists.
There is no middle ground for "believing both". It's either one or the other (in one form or another). Check out the articles that explain the downfalls of compromise: http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/faq/compromise.asp. The leading Evolutionist spokesman at this time, Richard Dawkins, would agree that compromise is bad--about the only thing I would agree with him about.
Jesus Christ is Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer. The Christian article of faith about Creation is essential to the article of faith concerning a Redeemer. If you undermine the foundation (biblical Creation), you undermine the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I believe God created everyone and everything, but I also believe there could be some evolution in there too. Not in the early stages of the creation of the world tho.

I think evolution is false. It's like Kipling's "just so" stories - people have all these "could have happened" explanations with no real evidence to back it up.

Evolution. It's...well, rational. Logical. Good stuff like that.
I remember someone asking once why it was that Christians got so offended at being told that they "evolved from apes" (or however they like to misconstrue the actual theory), but they don't mind believing that they were created from dirt.

This is something that can be debated for eternity, as everyone has strong beliefs. Personally, I believe in the Darwinian theory, and we evolved like all other life as we know it. As far as God being the creator, I believe God is THEE life force, and guides us and other animals through existence. Not to make fun of religion, but I like the Star Wars approach...The force is made up of all living things spiritually, and this is how I perceive God.

Oh, wow, what a question.
Get ready for total hell (which, incidentally, I don't believe in) among the answers given to this question.
I believe in both, in this semi-insane way. I'm Christian, but not the kind who bites atheist's heads off. I kind of think that humans and everything DID evolve from other beings, but because God made them do so.
And, oh yes, I bet a lot of Christians who read this answer are going to tell me I'm totally going to hell, but good luck, because as I already said I don't believe in hell. Shame on me.

I accept the evidence that indicates evolution is the best theory we have. Funny thing is, ALL the evidence points to evolution or something very similar.

About evolution, is there any proff that we come from monkeys? I mean, are there fossiles that prove the stages between apes and man, or that actually prove the evolution of the species?
