Will God protect us?? I am thinking about doing it with a couple of friends and we are going to pray to god before we start asking him to protect us from evil spirits. So will he protect us from negative spirits and let us get in contact with the positive ones?

I got a bit tongue tied. "We are going to pray to him before we start contacting spirits"...

It's a toy. You have as much chance of contacting a spirit with a ouija board as you do of accidentally knocking an angel out of the sky with a Frisbee.

Spirits don't exist - much less evil spirits. And the Ouija board is just a game that the players control. Don't let it get to your head.

My sisters and I used to play with the Ouija all the time when we were teens. We'd all put our fingers on it and every once in a while, one of us would pull our hand away to trick the other into moving it unaided. It always stopped moving, proving we weren't moving it intentionally.
But one night something very, very freaky happened and our house was never the same after that. My daughter could hardly wait to turn eighteen and move out of that creaking, groaning, door-moving house.
Be very, very, very careful. No fooling! Be very careful playing with that crazy thing. I'm just saying .....
and I'm an agnostic!

Sorry but I have to ask about your motivations here?
Praying before doing something that you apparently feel is wrong seems to be hedging your bets both ways.
If you think it is wrong here's a hint. DON'T DO IT.

that's like asking a policeman to stand by while you rob a bank. Prayer and evil don't go together. You would be asking for protection from evil, and then opening the door for the devil. The Bible warns to stay from such things.

Every time I played with a Ouija board the other ppl moved it & if they didn't, nothing happened. I actually burned mine when we went camping in my 20's. I finally realized I wasted my $. Relax, it's just a board/bored game.

It's pronounced wee gee. I usually consult my ouija board before I make any major decision in my life.
