I was fairly close some years ago. Went to Elko which is south of Jackpot and west. Took a gambling junket from Louisville to the Red Lion Casino in Elko. The price was pretty cheap and the accommodations were good and clean. The buffet wasn't all that good, but it has been some years since I went and just like Vegas, I'm sure that they have improved over the years.

No, never have, but I love to vacation in little places like that, away from the bustle and hurry, often picturesque landscapes.

For example, I'm hoping to return to Jerome, Arizona, an artists' community in an old mining town. It's about an hour south of Sedona and I liked it better than Sedona.

I have. I used to work security at Cactus Petes.
I loved it there too.
