...and you had come to your conclusions after extensive investigation, determining instead that they all believe in Santa simply because they were raised to, and further suppose that the Santa believers had already passed numerous laws that restrict your freedom based on nothing but Santa belief, and further suppose they were trying to introduce 'intelligent levitation' as an alternative to aerodynamics, and further suppose that the Y!A mythology section was filled with people talking about how great Santa is, would you hang out there for hours on end telling people - in a nice way - that they were delusional?

...suppose further that belief in Santa caused an emotional high that Santa believers claimed was 'personal experience' of Santa...

Apparently, You have confused Santa with the living God who gives revelation to those who love and seek the truth.
As far as legislating God's law on anyone I am against it.
Christians are not saved by the law but made new by the atonement.

Belief in God is based on personal revelation from God. How can you disprove that anyone has had a personal revelation of Gods existance? It is called personal.

Logic like yours doesnt equate because you would also have to believe that Santa would personally reveal his truth. You can claim all you want that everyone that believes in God is deluded or has no proof, but if they say God has proven himself to them, how in the world can you ever disprove that?

Your freedoms arent restricted because of religious beliefs in God they are restricted becasue you live in a society. In any society some freedoms are restricted to protect other freedoms the majority feel are more important to protect. Why would your value system be any more valid than anyone elses?
and why do people like you always insist that religion and science cant work hand in hand? God can work thru scientific principles. Things you think are impossible therefor proves the Bible is crazy can indeed be possible, we just might not understand the science behind how it works. There was a time when a virgin birth was considered impossible. Now a woman can have a virgin birth thru artificial ensemination.

No, I would not. I would hang out there for hours on end telling people - in a MEAN way - that they were delusional, just like I do on this website to the 90% of people on here who are dumb enough to believe in Santa, except in this case it is "God" not Santa, but I think that is what you were getting at, no?

Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Santa Claus. He was a 4th century Christian bishop of Myra in Lycia, a province of the Byzantine Anatolia, now in Turkey. Nicholas was famous for his generous gifts to the poor, in particular presenting the three impoverished daughters of a pious Christian with dowries so that they would not have to become prostitutes.

So technically, Santa is real & god, well.......still no evidence.

I might give some thought to maybe I am wrong and the 90 percent right. That maybe my investigation and conclusions were wrong. I would question what my motives were for hanging out in Y!A . Am I really that sure Santa does not exist? Did I really look for God with an open heart and mind. Or was my mind already closed when I started my investigation. God will not show himself until he is ready and he feels you are ready. He is the potter. You are clay.

So then you were one of those mean little kids that ran around telling nice little kids like me that Santa doesn't exist. Thanks for that.

Whats wrong with letting people feel something? It makes them happy, It makes me happy. I have never understood this fascination with yanking the religious rug out from underneath believers of any sort.

That was a good analogy though. I'll give you that much :)

Telling people they are delusional wouldn't work. The same way no insane person believes they are insane.
