because of the fact no longer all mythology or folklore is non secular in nature. what's non secular approximately Snow White or Cinderella as an occasion? additionally no longer all non secular concepts are "myths". via definition a "fantasy" is a narrative that tries to respond to between the complicated questions of existence. no longer all non secular concepts fall into that section. A occasion may be some thing like the ten Commandments. they're neither "myths" or "folklore", yet fairly a mirrored image of custom/society. So at the same time as there are some aspects that the two have in straightforward, there are extra aspects wherein they're very diverse.

Great question! I have no idea LOL

Add- Jennifer H. to school ignorant xians, why else? LOL. I am an Atheist & many of us like to discuss religion. Most Atheists are quite aware & educated on the subject. To us, it is no different than discussing mythology, philosophy, or folklore. I personally find religions fascinating, that does not mean I am secretly searching for God. I have studied history & religion for years. I love history & religion is a part of it.

How pathetic. Resorting to moronic and hurtful humor to attack religion? Even comparing it to special education, which by the way is hurtful to people with special
needs as well. What is wrong with you?
And I wonder when the day atheists and religious folk will get along shall come...

Equating religion with mythology is one thing. Equating it with special ed crosses a line. Grow up.

I would love to test your IQ to other brilliant scientists, attorneys, doctors, politicians, etc that are religious. I bet compared to them your IQ would be considered to be in the special ed category by your own childish logic. Your point isnt adult or grown up. It is petty and basically resorts to namecalling.

If you really have to ask a question like that, then any answer we give won't satisfy you. If you feel that way, why aren't you in mythology and folklore to begin with.
