This sounds like a form of bullying, and it's natural for someone who is energetic and bubbly to be misdiagnosed as having ADD. Talk to the school Principal and perhaps get your teacher to explain to the class what ADD really is so the other kids in your class won't bully you anymore. Sometimes education is the best defence against ignorance. If only people would listen.
Don't let this get you down because then you're letting the bully win.

Well, the first thing you need to do is talk to a parent, or guardian, and tell them about your feelings about wanting to hurt yourself. Those type of feelings are not something you should keep inside.
Second, kids are cruel, they say things to hurt others, mainly because thier self esteem, is not up to par. So, they "attack" other's verbally to make themselves feel better.
However, the issue I am more worried about is you having feelings to hurt yourself. Go, right now and confide in your parent, or guardians about those feelings.
Things will get better once you advise your guardian about your feelings, and what is going on in school.

girl this is nothing to be emmbarrased about! think about people out there with aids and stds and metal retardation, this is nothing. dont do anything to harm yourself about this. if people are saying this to hurt you then they arent your real friends and if you honestly think you might hurt yourself go wake an adult up in your house and tell them you need help. They can help you see a doctor and they will diagnois it if you have add. everything will be ok. just remember you are way above those rude people. hope everything gets better girl. get ignore them as much as possible and laugh in thier face, sum may not realize its hurting your feelings. you shuld let them know how it makes you feel.

Let me just say, in my experience with being around people with ADD and ADHD (my boyfriend, and a cousin have it) and you don't seem to have it. I can tell by the way you typed your words, you stayed on topic and didn't babble about anything. Most people with ADD can not concentrate long enough to write what you just did. So I don't think you need to worry about that.
As for the jerks in your school, you should stand up for yourself. Don't be afraid to speak out and let them know they can't harass you like that.

First of all, what would hurting yourself do except hurt.
Don't listen to what other kids say you have.
All youngster get hyper, and doesn't mean ADD.
You can still concentrate on your school work so it's not ADD.
Trust me and don't let mean people interfere with your life.

Next time someone says something I would look at them and say "You know what?!" and then look away, point, and say "What's that?" Then laugh. It's so much better to play along than to act hurt. They should stop if they think you're making the joke.

Even if you do have ADHD there is nothing wrong with that. You should talk to an adult about this so they can help you figure out how to handle it. Go talk to someone (teacher, parent, school counselor)!

your problem isnt add
your problem is worrying too much about what this kid thinks of you
kids your age misuse the term ADD
just like the kids that say "man...thats so GAY"
just ignore them....blame it on their own stupidity...thats what it is anyway
